Saudi Arabia: There will be a fine of 100 Riyals for speaking loudly in public places

Saudi Arabia has imposed a fine of 100 riyals for talking or shouting loudly in public places.

Khalid Karim, Vice President of Saudi Public Decorum Society the Public Decorum Law has been approved by Ministers Council experts.

He said that according to the fifth clause of this law, any person who raises his voice in public places.

frighten or threaten or harm the people will be fined 100 Riyals.

A senior government official said that strict measures are being taken for rioting brawling in some markets of the country.

In these incidents, there was shouting in the markets, people were harassed and the citizens were inconvenienced by the noise in a public place.

Khaled Karim instructed the citizens to complain to the relevant authorities of the Ministry of Interior about defacing public places in Saudi Arabia.

According to the new law, men and women are prohibited from wearing appropriate clothing and using obscene words or gestures.

These include banning people from taking pictures or videos without their permission or playing music during the call to prayer.
